Bad Girl Chocolates

The Bad Girls

The images used by Bad Girl Chocolates were created in the style of 1950's pulp fiction cover girls by local artist Toren MacBin. Sexy and saucy, you know they're women up to no good.

Kelly Boyd is a graduate of the Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts. She has been working with chocolate for a number of years making various gifts and confections for friends and family. This is her first venture into the world of professional chocolate making.

Toren McBoren MacBin (aka Toren Atkinson) was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, although he lived most of his life in Alberta and British Columbia. He was born in 1970 and grew up with Thundarr the Barbarian and the Superfriends, and became interested in the nerdy world of role-playing games in the 9th grade. In the astounding year 1992, he gathered together some friends and spawned the H.P. Lovecraft-inspired punk band, The Darkest of the Hillside Thickets. Just a couple short years back he helped to create a pair of Lovecraftian movies, "Return to Innsmouth" and "From Beyond", and even went so far as to bring Portland's H.P. Lovecraft film festival north to his home town of Vancouver. These days, Toren continues to make music, dress up in monster costumes, draw purdy pictures, watch old cartoons, and even co-developed an RPG for the cult tv series and movie, Spaceship Zero.
